Johnny Manziel filed his paperwork to enter the NFL Draft, where he's projected to go third overall to the Jaguars in SI.com's lastest mock draft. The Texas A&M quarterback, who penned a thank you letter to Aggies fans on Wednesday, was the most recognized college football player over the past two years. Here's a look back at some of Johnny Football's most memorable moments.
The Jeff and Greg Show
Spurs coach Gregg Popovich is famously grouchy during sideline interviews. Deadspin even created a montage of his best moments. But Pop was a completely different man with Jeff Van Gundy last night, hugging the former coach before retreating to his locker room. In a related story, the Spurs cruised to a 112-90 victory over the Mavs.
Controversy for Bob Costas
During an appearance on Today, NBC's Bob Costas discussed slopestyle, a new snowboarding event added to the Winter Olympics this year. According to Costas, "the president of the I.O.C. should be Johnny Knoxville, because basically this stuff is just 'Jackass' stuff they invented and called Olympic sports. This outraged many extreme sports fans, including ESPN X Games host and NBC Olympics employee Sal Masekela, who all took aim at the veteran broadcaster.

A Lawsuit and a T-Shirt
The Steelers may be out of the playoffs but things are not quiet in Pittsburgh. A fan filed a motion in a Pennsylvania court saying the Chargers shouldn’t be in the playoffs because the referees missed the illegal alignment penalty on Ryan Succop's missed last-second field goal in San Diego's game against Kansas City in Week 17. Had the Chiefs won, the Steelers would've made the playoffs. The fan wants the NFL "to suspend the playoffs for seven-to-10 days so that this issue can be resolved." In less litigious news, these new Tomlin Shuffle T-shirts are pretty amazing.
Two Bum Knees = One Happy Dog
Lindsey Vonn will not participate in the Winter Olympics due to a knee injury but she won't be watching the Games alone. In addition to hanging out with her Tiger, Vonn adopted a dog named Leo. She tweeted out a photo with the message, "Leo brightened my day-adopted him from an animal shelter.Has a bum knee bc a car hit him #bumkneebuddies #puppylove."
