Dave Hollander (words) and Stephen Halker (art) have produced a comic based on the memorable January 1976 meeting between the defending Stanley Cup champion Philadelphia Flyers and the Soviet Union's HC CSKA Moscow.
The matchup occurred at the height of the Cold War, pitting the hard-hitting Broad Street Bullies against the Red Army, who employed a more weave-and-pass style of play.
Head over to the Victory Journal for the full, partly-animated story.

The Hockey Guys also did a solid two-part story on the game which you can read here.
