The Syracuse Chiefs offered to give free tickets for life to the first 36 fans who were willing to get the team logo tattooed on their bodies at Tuesday nights game, and the response was so strong they had met their quota before the gates even opened for the game.

Syracuse.com reports that fans began lining up at noon for the 7:05 game against the Buffalo Bisons in order to take advantage of the promotion when weather forced the team to hand out certificates and send the lucky three dozen fans to Carmelo's Ink City (no connection to a more famous Syracuse Carmelo) to have the logo inked.

Syracuse general manager Jason Smorol said the team had to turn several disappointed fans away once they had met their quota, although the Chiefs should probably be willing to reward anyone dedicated enough to become a walking billboard for the club.
