There are some follically challenged sports figures who are successfully able to own their shimmering heads, to the extent that it's difficult to imagine that they've ever struggled with a bad hair day. It's doubtful that Jeff Van Gundy has always sported a bald patch in the middle of his scalp, but by that same token, would you be shocked if he was born with that hairstyle? For many, the lack of hair is a definitive and distinguishing aspect of their style. So this Throwback Thursday, I decided to take a look in the photo vaults to track down images of some of our favorite close-cropped (or just straight up bald) sports figures when they had hair.
