The Detroit Tigers and Tampa Bay Rays agreed on a stunning trade for pitcher David Price minutes before Thursday's trade deadline. It made for a unique situation for Tigers center fielder Austin Jackson, who was traded while he was out in the field as the Tigers were playing the Chicago White Sox

It ended up being quite the moment and the sendoff for Jackson as a Tiger. After pitcher Joakim Soria threw a 1-2 pitch to the White Sox's Gordon Beckham, Tigers manager Brad Ausmus came out of the dugout to talk to home-plate umpire Tim Welke.

Jackson was taken out of the game, and Tigers fans immediately had an inclination as to what was going on. They gave him a rousing standing ovation as he left the field. He headed into the dugout and exchanged farewell handshakes with several of his teammates.
