Kate Upton and Detroit Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander are the latest to take on the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, issuing nominations to Frank Thomas, Cameron Diaz and Andy Roddick among others.

It is possible the entire challenge may have been created in an effort to get Kate Upton to take part in it, and the charity part is simply icing on the cake.
