Yankees newest good luck charm is a terrifying horse mask
The New York Yankees have a new good luck charm in the form of a frighteningly realistic horse head mask worn by relief pitcher Shawn Kelley.

The mask first showed up last week after Kelley purchased it as a joke on Amazon.com one night, and ever since he first wore it to the team's pregame stretch, New York has gone 5-0 and gained two games in the AL wild card race.
The team has no doubts about what turned their fortunes around, according to Yahoo Sports Jeff Passan.
"Kelley's undefeated with the horse," Yankees center fielder Jacoby Ellsbury said. "I'm never going to go against that."

The team has named its equine talisman, Seabiscuit, and if things keep up at this rate the Yankees will be riding the horse all the way to the postseason.
