Johnny Manziel has zero NFL starts and ten trademark applications. According to ESPN, the Browns backup quarterback just applied for a trademark on the nickname "Johnny Cleveland."
ESPN's Darren Rovell said two other people tried to file trademarks on the name but were denied because the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office believed it was tied to Manziel.
Manziel also has filed trademark claims for JFF and The House That Johnny Built, among others.
People trying to trademark Johnny Be Good, Johnny Browns and Money Manziel were also shut down.
But one person succeeded in registering a trademark for "Juanito Futbol."
No word on whether Manziel tried to trademark the nickname Bills Hall of Famer Andre Reed gave him.
