The most embarrassed reporter in the New York metro area today is Tara Sullivan of The Bergen Record. Sullivan had her phone sitting in front of Derek Jeter to record his press conference Sunday afternoon when her husband decided it would be a good time to call. 

The Yankees held a ceremony before Sunday's game to bid farewell to Jeter. In addition to Jeter's former teammates, Michael Jordan, Dave Winfield, Cal Ripken Jr. and others came to wish him well in his future endeavors. Perhaps those future plans include a second career as a secretary.
