Jacob deGrom is having a tremendous rookie year. In 127.1 innings, he has a 2.62 ERA and 1.147 WHIP. SI's Cliff Corcoran has him as his leading candidate for National League Rookie of the Year.

But it's a tight race, and if deGrom is going to become the first Met with win Rookie of the Year since Dwight Gooden, he's going to need all the help he can get. 

That's why Mr. Met is sporting a different hairdo these days:

That's a pretty sweet head of hair, but he's got nothing on deGrom himself.
