One lucky Chicago Cubs fan caught a Jorge Soler home run ball last night but quickly became very unlucky when his wedding ring came off during the celebration and landed on the warning track.

One lucky Chicago Cubs fan caught a Jorge Soler home run ball last night, but quickly became very unlucky when his wedding ring fell off during the celebration and landed on the warning track.
The speed with which this fan goes from elation to panic is record setting, as the second that ring leaves his finger he is immediately in search mode.

The fan and an usher spotted the ring on the warning track before it got buried by an outfielder, so he got the jewelry back and even got to meet Soler and get the ball autographed. So in the end it was definitely worth a few seconds of sheer terror.
