It seems like Uber is only doing this in New York, so users in, say, Houston aren't getting random Jeter tributes.

Earlier this week, Gatorade, having already crafted a two-minute commercial with Jeter, replaced its "G" logo on the coolers in the Yankee dugout with a No. 2.
The Yankees are also selling game used Jeter socks for $409 apiece.
