Lions head coach Jim Caldwell was a little vague when he announced last week that tight end Joseph Fauria would not be practicing because he injured his ankle at home.
He should have given the details, though, because it turns out the explanation is really cute.
Fauria is the second Lions player to injure himself in an unusual fashion this season, though the other was far more serious. Lions linebacker Stephen Tullochtore his ACL while celebrating a sack and is out for the season.

Fauria was asked after Tulloch's injury if he would reconsider his own famous celebrations. "Hell no," he responded.
