Knicks fans: Are you confused about the triangle offense? Fear not: Spike Lee is here to help. According to the Wall Street Journal, the Knicks superfan is currently shooting an instructional film about Phil Jackson's legendary offensive system called  “What Is the Triangle Offense: A Spike Lee Orange and Blue Skies Joint."

“I’ve never done anything like this before,” Lee told WSJ. “This is trying to explain to the average fan the triangle system. It’s sort of like the mysterious mythology and Zen that Phil Jackson has used to win six [championships] in Chicago and five times in L.A.”

Lee is now being put through a crash course by rookie head coach Derek Fisher, assistants Jim Cleamons and Kurt Rambis, and the Zen Master himself.

Jackson seems enthused about the project, but doesn't want Lee to give away too much about the triangle. “The less they know, the better off we are," the Knicks president said of his opponents.

Frankly, an instructional video is probably the least of the Knicks worries this season. The film is set to premiere on MSG on Oct. 24.
