The Los Angeles Lakers appear to be trying some new things on defense under new head coach Byron Scott, as guard Ronnie Price attempted to stop an Andre Iguodala breakaway by throwing a shoe at the ball on Sunday.
The Los Angeles Lakers appear to be trying some new things on defense under new head coach Byron Scott, as guard Ronnie Price attempted to stop an Andre Iguodala breakaway by throwing a shoe at the ball on Sunday.
Price lost the shoe in the process of turning the ball over on offense, and when Iguodala turned to push the play up the court, the nine-year veteran did the only thing he could to try to stop an easy bucket by tossing the sneaker.

Price was hit with a technical for the unconventional defensive maneuver, and the Warriors tweeted the obvious, but necessary joke.
