Knicks' Amar'e Stoudemire takes a red wine bath
Athletes are always trying to stay on the cutting edge of recovery technology but Amar'e Stoudemire may have stumbled upon the oddest trick yet, taking a red wine bath to aid in his recovery.
The New York Knicks power forward posted a photo to Instagram of him soaking in a tub of wine on Wednesday, saying it was part of his recovery plan.

Studies have shown that red wine contains resveratrol, a substance which is often connected to heart health and also believed by some to have anti-aging properties, although nothing regarding these claims has been clinically proven, according to Quackwatch.com.
Maybe the positive effects from wading around in a pool of wine are just that it reminds you that you are so rich you can afford to do crazy stuff like take red wine baths?
