We had Drake joining Kentucky and airballing a three-pointer. We had Jim Boeheim entering the court on a Humvee while "Born in the U.S.A." blared in the background. How could those two be topped, you may ask?
Enter Tubby Smith -- literally. At Texas Tech's Midnight Madness, the longtime college coach dressed up as Shaft, a reference all the college-aged students in the crowd are sure to get, and drove a motorcycle out onto the court.
Only one problem with Smith's plan: turns out he's not so good at stopping the motorcycle, as seen above.

Luckily Smith was completely fine. In fact, his own well-being wasn't even his main concern.
Dressed as Shaft, Tubby Smith drives a motorcycle on to the court. Crashes it. Then asked if he scratched the court. Awesome.

Texas Tech probably isn't going to be very good this year, but it can't get much worse than literally crashing on the court... we hope.
