Ohio State marching band's amazing halftime tribute to classic rock
The Ohio State University marching band has turned in some amazing halftime shows this season, with themes on classic television shows and the Wizard of Oz. On Saturday, the team took a look at its home state's place in rock and roll history with a tribute to classic rock.
The performance included the band forming a lumbering Frankenstein's monster for the Edgar Winter Group's hit of the same name, a pinball machine for The Who's "Pinball Wizard, and culminating in a smashing guitar during the KISS' classic "Rock and Roll All Nite."

The band's tremendous performance was matched by the football team, which defeated new Big Ten member Rutgers 56-17 in the first matchup between the two teams.
