Thursday's A.M. Hot Clicks: Tempers Flare as Royals Even Series
Tempers Flare. Royals Win.
Things turned a little feisty in Game 2 of the World Series as the Royals took down the Giants to even the matchup at 1-1. The excitement occurred in the sixth inning after Giants pitcher Hunter Strickland gave up a two-run homer to Omar Infante and yelled at Salvador Perez, which caused the Royals bench to empty (though no punches were thrown). Viewers in Washington, D.C., missed the incident due to a test of the emergency broadcast alert system. In other World Series news, the Department of Homeland Security busted a woman for selling Royals panties, Miss California 2013 has a crush on Eric Hosmer and this Marlins fan stationed behind home plate has become a bit of a cult hero.
Nick Young. Forever 21 Model
Lakers guard Nick Young has kept himself busy while recovering from a thumb injury. The artist known as Swaggy P is now a Forever 21 model, along with girlfriend/rapper Iggy Azalea. They recently posed for the company's upcoming holiday ads and while Azalea admitted to being nervous in front of the camera, Young had no problems, saying, "Nothing [was hard], I’m Swaggy! It comes natural!”
Rex the Trickster
The Jets may be 1-6 and going nowhere but that won't stop Rex Ryan from having a little fun. With the Bills on the docket this week, Ryan jumped on the media conference call with Sammy Watkins and pretended to be a reporter. The two have a history as Watkins attended Clemson along with Ryan's son, Seth. Meanwhile up north, Bill Belichick sent Darrelle Revis home from practice Tuesday after the cornerback overslept and showed up late.
Lovely Lady of the Day
There's a lot I want to say about this week's Sons of Anarchy but I don't want to spoil it for those who are behind. I will say that within 30 seconds of Inbar Lavi appearing on screen, I was searching photos to make her LLOD click here for full-size gallery).
Update (10:51 a.m.): Inbar was excited to be today's LLOD. We just had this important Twitter exchange.

Auburn Basketball: Classroom Takeover
Bruce Pearl and members of the Auburn cheerleading squad and band interrupt a class with an impromptu pep rally. This never happened to me at UMass, though I did take a "Consumer and Family Studies" class with Marcus Camby. He had his headphones in the entire semester. It was pretty impressive.
