Roger Federer buys ball kids pizza after winning Basel Open
There is only one thing in the world that is better than a pizza party, and that is a pizza party that is thrown by Roger Federer, which makes the ball kids at the Basel Open the luckiest kids in the world.
Federer started buying pizzas for the kids at the end of the tournament in his hometown 11 years ago and has made it an annual tradition. The six-time Basel Open winner said the party was inspired by his time as a ball boy at the facility where the event is held, according to For The Win.

"That’s how it all started with me. I would ride my bike from home – about five to 10 minutes away – and I was a ballboy here all day long and would go back home and do it again the next day. So I always have a tradition where everyone has a pizza with me after the final. It’s been 11 times now. I do it win or lose, regardless.”
Federer won this year's final 6-2, 6-2 over David Goffin after finishing in second the previous two years.
