DC Comics says Valencia's logo looks too much like Batman's
DC Comics has filed a complaint with the European Union's trademark body over the newest version of Liga soccer club Valencia's logo, which they feel is a little too close to the logo used by Batman.
The comic book giant's complaint is unlikely to gain much traction, however. Yahoo Sports reports that Valencia CF has had a bat in its logo since 1919, long before Batman existed, and the winged creatures have been featured prominently in the crests of Spanish nobility for hundreds of years.

The logo in question is not even strikingly similar to the classic Batman logo. It seems like Batman's time would be better spent cleaning up the streets of Gotham than pursuing trademark lawsuits.
