Signing of the Day

Forget LeGarrette Blount. The DePaul Blue Demons locked up the services of 11-year-old Brendan McMahon, who signed a Letter of Intent last week. McMahon was diagnosed with Duchene Muscular Dystrophy when he was 6 and was able to join the team through DePaul's partnership with Team IMPACT, whose mission is to improve the quality of life for children facing life-threatening and chronic illnesses through the power of team.

Hot Clicks Giveaway

I took a walk by the SI Swimsuit office yesterday and noticed a box of 2014 issues and DVDs. I may or may not have stolen three pair for a giveaway (spoiler: I did). I'll send them to the 50th, 75th and 100th person who emails me  (andy_gray@simail.com) the name of the controversial Western Hockey League mascot I mentioned in A.M. Hot Clicks. Please make the subject line "2014 Swimsuit."

Update (6:23 a.m.): Contest closed. Winners will be notified. More giveaways coming soon.

The details are pretty mind-boggling but Johnson claims assets of “less than $50,000” and debts of “more than $10 million,” although sources say the debt could be in the neighborhood of $15 million.

Interesting tidbit from SB Nation. Since Archie Manning was drafted by the Saints in 1971, there have been 7,744 instances of a quarterback finishing a game with more interceptions thrown than touchdowns. A Manning was a QB for 155 of them (Archie - 64, Eli - 46, Peyton - 45).
