That level of intensity was personified in the Blue Devils locker room by a graduate assistant named Chris Hoover, who briefly lost his mind in the moments before the team took the field, leaving an innocent folding chair in his wake.

The chair's sacrifice turned out to be all for naught though as Duke fell to the Tar Heels 45-20.
