Devin Gardner got a letter from Ohio State after he consoled J.T. Barrett
Ohio State and Michigan are bitter rivals, but when Buckeyes quarterback J.T. Barrett suffered a fractured ankle in Saturday's game, his Wolverines counterpart, Devin Gardner, knelt beside him to console him.
On Wednesday, Gardner shared a letter sent to him by an Ohio State employee.
"I really appreciate Dave Claborn & the OSU athletic department for this kind letter!" Gardner wrote when he posted the letter. "Just saw it today and was very moved!"

It's not actually from the Buckeyes' athletic department, though. Claborn is the director of development and community relations for Ohio State University at Marion, an OSU branch campus 50 miles north of the main campus in Columbus.
But while the letter isn't exactly from Urban Meyer, it's still a nice gesture.
