The creators of the Air Bud series have finally branched off from dogs who play sports, into dogs who are pro wrestlers with their newest masterpiece, Russell Madness.

In a classic, Oscar bait plot, the movie tells the story of a wrestling family who adopts a stray dog that then becomes a wrestling superstar, thanks to some help from a talking monkey trainer.

The movie will be hitting the Silver screen in February, so you will have to wait awhile before you find out if the dog has what it takes to beat his nemesis in the big finale.
