Kevin Durant hand-delivered sneakers to a kid who had his stolen
Anthony Cupp, a 13-year-old from the Detroit area, mowed lawns in his neighborhood to save up $150 to buy Nike KD 7 basketball shoes. The eighth grader was walking home from basketball practice when an older kid mugged him for his new shoes. He had to walk the rest of the way in just his socks.
The Pistons heard about Anthony's story and decided to do something special when Durant and the Thunder visited Detroit on Sunday. Anthony attended the game as an honorary ball boy and got to meet Durant before the game.

"He was real nervous," Durant told NewOK.com. "Same thing I would have been if I met my favorite NBA player back then. I was just trying to make him feel as comfortable as possible."
Durant gave Anthony two pair of KD 7s, one autographed pair in Durant's size and one for Anthony to wear when he plays.
