Chen told CBSSports.com that he collected data from Sports-Reference.com to see how UConn has fared against smartypants since 1980. He realized the sample size was large enough "that the central limit theorem can be applied to a very good approximation!" Indeed.

Chen told CBSSports that while he was happy his alma mater got the victory, he was upset with the way the Huskies have played during their three-game losing streak.
