J.R. Smith is making a run at Santa Claus' job this Christmas by hiding presents all over New York City and posting hints on where to find them on Instagram.

Smith is calling the eight day long holiday scavenger hunt "Swishmas" and the first present dropped on Wednesday.

The first hint involved some math as you had to add up Smith's season highs in points, rebounds, assists and steals to get the street where the gifts were located. It appeared the presents included a package filled with sports video games.
