Andrew Wiggins dreamt he was going to the NBA in eighth grade
Andrew Wiggins's dream in eighth grade was to become an NBA player.
2014's No. 1 NBA draft pick Andrew Wiggins entered college and the NBA with lots of hype. As it turns out, that hype went all the way back to middle school.
The Minnesota Timberwolves tweeted out Wiggins's eighth grade yearbook photo today, and even back then Wiggins was called "The Prospect" or "junior Jordan." Wiggins also dreamt of being an NBA player, which became a reality this past July when he was drafted first by the Cleveland Cavaliers before his eventual trade to the Wolves.
All the eighth graders out there still have a chance.
