Host Bob Ley interviewed country musician/author/ex-gubernatorial candidate Kinky Friedman, who proved to be a bit of a character.

Friedman, between puffs on a cigar, said he thought the Jones-Christie pairing is "the most important, latent homosexual relationship since Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson."
That's quite a theory.
