The Los Angeles Kings hosted the New York Rangers on Thursday night in the teams' first game since last season's Stanley Cup Finals, and things got a little out of hand in the first period at Staples Center.

So many things could've happened here. Did a Rangers fan sneak into the scoreboard area and change it? Was the operator bored and fell asleep, hitting his/her head on the 9? Was it a test to see if fans were paying attention?
OK, it was probably just an accident. But it's amusing nonetheless. Unless, maybe, if you're a Kings fan.
