When Michael Sam announced he was gay ahead of the NFL combine last year, he became the biggest story in sports, and as such a great number of reporters were hoping to interview him.

One of those reporters was The MMQB's Robert Klemko, who shared the Seussian denial he received from Sam's then-publicist Howard Bragman.

I am the rep for Michael Sam

I am

He would not like to chat with the press

In a suit or in a dress

He would not like them

Here or there

He would not like them

anywhere.

He would not like them

in a house

He would not like them

with a mouse

Fastest players at the combine will receive Porsche Carreras

It continues on from there describing Sam's Green Eggs and Ham-like aversion to interviews.

Sam has since let Bragman go, so perhaps he is more of a Shel Silverstein guy.
