This is actually a great idea. What if the NBA used a one-on-one tournament to determine the last spot on the All-Star rosters?
Instead of having the commissioner chose between Damian Lillard and DeMarcus Cousins to replace Kobe Bryant, Lillard and Cousins could have settled it on the court. A matchup between a center and a point guard sounds unfair, but people would definitely watch.
