Now Shaw is trying a different tactic to reach the team, telling TNT's Rachel Nichols that he has been reading books about the millennial generation in an effort to better understand his players.

Nichols also reported during the team's 109-96 victory over the Lakers that Shaw at one point attempted to take the players' cell phones away.
