Indianapolis Colts long snapper Matt Overton offered a challenge on Twitter on Monday night: For every new follower he gained until midnight, he would donate $1 to the Ball State Dance Marathon benefiting Riley Children's Hospital.

Overton has been a "tireless supporter" of Riley since coming to the Colts, according to the Indianapolis Star, often donating his time and money to the hospital and to Riley Children's Foundation.

On Tuesday morning, Overton shared the results of his challenge:

Overton had received 3,886 new followers, so he rounded it up and made a $4,000 donation.

A terrific gesture from the long snapper.
