No player in NBA history who has attempted at least 1,000 free throws has converted a lower percentage of his free throw attempts through his age-26 season than Los Angeles Clippers center DeAndre Jordan, according to an analysis from The Wall Street Journal.
Jordan's .422 percent make rate is much lower than the second worst free-throw shooter, former Indiana Pacers center Dale Davis (.520). Jordan posted his lowest free-throw conversion rate 2009-10 (.375) and only once, in 2011-12, has cracked the .500 barrier.
In a recent game against the San Antonio Spurs, Jordan connected on only 10 of his 28 free-throw attempts.
