Rapper 50 Cent on his $1.6 million Floyd Mayweather bet: 'He can't lose'
Ahead of the May 2 match between boxers Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao, rapper 50 Cent has placed a $1.6 million bet on a Mayweather victory.
Mayweather and 50 Cent exchanged barbs through social media last year, but the rapper said on Tuesday that he would back Mayweather in his bout against Pacquiao.
In a radio appearance Tuesday morning, 50 Cent said Mayweather would be able to handle Pacquiao easily, adding that, "It's gonna look like [the fight] was pumped up for no reason."
50 Cent said Mayweather "can't lose."

After the confirmation the fight would occur, betting opened with Mayweather as a favorite, listed at -295 to Pacquiao's +230. Currently, Sportsbook has Mayweather at -200 and Pacquiao at +165.
Mayweather, 37, is 47-0 with 26 KOs after his defeat of Marco Maidana in September. Pacquiao, 36, has a 57-5-2 record with 38 KOs after beating Chris Algieri in November.
50 Cent said in early February that he did not think the fight, slated for the MGM Grand on the first Saturday in May, would occur, saying Mayweather was "scared to death" of Pacquaio.
