It's On!
Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather held a press conference Wednesday to officially announce their fight for May 2. The cheapest tickets will cost (face value) $1,700 while the average price on the secondary market is currently $9,252. In other words, buy it on pay-per-view. The trash talk has begun too, as Pacquiao said Ronda Rousey could beat Mayweather in an MMA fight (though Rousey could beat a lot of people, so not sure how effective a putdown that is). The fight is expected to bring in over $400 million with Mayweather looking at a nine-figure payday. MGM president Richard Sturm (and his hair) were the unlikely stars of the press conference while Justin Bieber is still awful.
