Big news for Full House fans. The Frisco RoughRiders, a minor league affiliate of the Texas Rangers, announced plans to hold Full House Night on June 12 with special guest Dave Coulier. And I'm not even sure this is the best minor league theme night announced this week. The Richmond Flying Squirrels will host Jaws Night on June 13, the Jackson Generals will host Wizard of Oz Night on May 15 and the Lowell Spinners will host Jimmy Buffett Night on Aug. 6. Kind of makes me wish we had a SI Swimsuit Night for our model-loving baseball fans. Oh wait, we did that last year and it included a mascot dance-off.

Forget Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao. The biggest boxing match of the spring involves a one-time presidential candidate and 52-year-old former heavyweight champion. Mitt Romney and Evander Holyfield will step into the ring on May 15 in Salt Lake City to help raise money for Charity Vision, a nonprofit organization that works to help the blind. 

The Mayor of Camelback Ranch

Tommy Lasorda visited the Dodgers spring training facility at Camelback Ranch in Phoenix and greeted players and fans from his golf cart. The 87-year-old legend also has a lifesize bobblehead at the facility, which is a big hit with fans. Speaking of big hits, Lasorda singing Lil' John's Turn Down For What is the best musical performance of 2015.
