People panicked after Cubs' Jon Lester gave up 3 runs in the 1st inning

Can we not have Jon Lester anymore? I'll let Edwin Jackson have his spot if he's gonna pitch like this...

What's going on with #JonLester? Is he a secret spy sent to pitch terribly for the @Cubs?

I'm sorry that I ever doubted the Red Sox in their decision to not overpay Jon Lester. Enjoy that contract Cubs fans.

Luckily for Cubs fans, the team scored three runs in the bottom of the inning, and Lester got through the next three innings without giving up a run.
In Lester's first start of the season against the St. Louis Cardinals, the pitcher gave up three runs on eight hits in 4 1/3 innings and got the loss.
