Rapper Nas posts image of Stephen Curry on Illmatic cover

Count Nas among Stephen Curry's numerous admirers.

Following Curry's 40-point game against the Pelicans Thursday night, which included a game-tying three with seconds on the clock, the rapper posted on Instagram a picture of Curry recreated onto his 1994 Illmatic album cover. "nas" was changed to "curry" and "illmatic" was changed to "automatic."

The cover was done by an artist, Jesse Nunez, who has recreated well-known hip-hop album covers by using NBA stars such as Curry, LeBron James, Kobe Bryant and more. 

Given that Illmatic is considered one of the best hip-hop albums of all-time, this recreation is quite the compliment.
