First baseman Anthony Rizzo was a shade late getting out of the dugout between innings and they were almost trampled at the finish line of the Reds mascot race, which features Mr. Red, Rosie Red, Mr. Redlegs, and Gapper.
Luckily the slugger escaped harm, but anyone watching could see the malice in Mr. Redlegs' eyes as he hurtled towards Rizzo.
