Thunderstorm knocks down both foul poles at LSU
Baton Rouge, La., dealt with a massive thunderstorm on Monday, and among the items damaged in the storm were both foul poles at LSU's Alex Box Stadium.
The school's baseball team is ranked No.1 in the nation and has a game scheduled for Tuesday evening against Alcorn State, which The Advocate reports is still going to be played.
The foul poles will not be fixed in time for the game, so 20-foot-temporary markers will be set up instead.

According to The Advocate, LSU and Alcorn State were considering playing a doubleheader on Tuesday to make up for another game that was rained out earlier this season, but the plans had to be scrapped to allow time for repairs to the stadium.
