The Sunday front of The Washington Post's sports section gracefully managed to cover the Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao fight, Kentucky Derby, NFL draft, NBA playoffs, NHL playoffs and local Washington Nationals action. That's an impressive feat on one of the busiest sports days of the year.

Outlets across the country scrambled to cover all the action, and the Post was no exception with dispatches from Las Vegas for Mayweather's unanimous-decision win, Louisville, Ky., for American Pharoah's Derby victory and New York for the Rangers' 3–2 NHL playoffs win over the Washington Capitals.

There was also plenty more coverage, of course. But the Post's sports front is a great reminder of the value newspapers hold on days like Saturday and Sunday.
