Not surprisingly, the Pitch Perfect 2 cast really enjoyed the Green Bay Packers' cameo in the upcoming coming film.

In an Entertainment Weekly story this week, cast members from the upcoming sequel to the original 2012 film discussed the strong impressions Clay Matthews, David Bakhtiari, Josh Sitton, T.J. Lang, Don Barclay and Aaron Rodgers' younger brother, Jordan, had on the cast.

"I didn't realize that a group of the manliest men in the world were such fans of Pitch Perfect," said Hailee Steinfeld, who plays Emily Junk in the film.

Interestingly enough, the whole thing started with Bakhtiari tweeting about the film and producer Max Handelman taking notice. Eventually, Handelman signed into director Elizabeth Banks' Twitter account and reached out to Bakhtiari.

"We'd never met them face-to-face," Handelman said. "They are professional football players who had just come from their off-season training camp, and we were confident that they were taking it serious, and they wanted to do it. But we had no idea whether they were going to be any good. None. And it was kind of like, 'Well, they're going to be in the movie. So let’s see how this goes.'"

As EW reports, the Packers even took to practicing on their own. An unspecified team member was later described as looking "like a Viking god," according to Banks.
