Marv Albert asks Chris Webber about David Blatt's timeout gaffe

Marv Albert asked broadcast partner Chris Webber about David Blatt calling a phantom timeout.

TNT broadcaster Marv Albert asked broadcast partner Chris Webber about David Blatt calling a phantom timeout during Bulls-Cavaliers Game 5 on Tuesday.

Blatt tried to call timeout when his Cleveland team didn't have any during the final seconds of Game 4, which by league rules results in a technical. However, none of the referees noticed, which the NBA later confirmed was a missed call. 

The Cavaliers went on to win on a LeBron James buzzer beater, so Blatt escaped his gaffe without damage. But not everyone who makes that kind of mistake is so lucky. Just ask Webber, who famously called for a timeout Michigan didn't have during the 1993 national championship game. 

So when Albert took the opportunity to ask Webber his thoughts on Blatt as well as show the official rule to viewers, Webber had a simple response: "I don't need to see it."
