Let's Play the Feud!
Set your DVR. The Gronkowski Brothers are coming to Family Feud, and as a fan of he show, I couldn't be more excited. But that's not the real reason I led Clicks with this item. I'm dying to get the SI Swimsuit models on an episode of Family Feud. So far I've had zero luck. Zilch. I've sent emails, left voicemails and even tweeted at them here and here. So if anyone has a connection at the show or can help in any way, please email me (andy_gray@simail.com). In the meantime, reserve a spot on the couch for the Gronk Family Feud.
Mascot Sues ESPN
A former Mississippi State cheerleader is suing ESPN for injuries she suffered during the 2013 Egg Bowl. The plaintiff, Michaela Mills, dressed as the school's mascot Bully when MSU played Ole Miss in November 2013. During an “exciting portion of the game,” the suit alleges that a golf cart driver and the spotter failed to alert Mills or watch where they were driving and the cart ran over her leg. The accident caused a compound fracture and led to two surgeries immediately after the game. Mills is seeking in excess of $75,000 in damages from ESPN.
Second Best Moment of MLB Season
Earlier this week, I mentioned how Andrew McCutchen giving his batting gloves to a pair of young (and excited) Pirates fans was the best moment of the MLB season. Bryce Harper made a strong bid for No. 2 on Tuesday when a fan tossed him her cell phone and he took a selfie with it.
