Saturday Night Live cast members Kate McKinnon, Jay Pharaoh and Beck Bennett will join Jake Lacy and Nikki Reed as stars in an upcoming movie about the perils and joys of intramural flag football.
The film, billed as "the epic sports movie for the guys who don’t deserve one," tells the coming-of-age story of the Panthers, a sad-sack underdog team, and their wheel-chair-bound coach as they try to vanquish the Titans, who are lead by the formidable Dick Downs (Bennett).
"With graduation, marriage, and an uncertain future on the horizon, fifth-year college senior Caleb Fuller (Lacy) decides to do the one thing he vowed to never do again: get the ole flag football team back together," a release about the film reads. "Now with the help of his Panther teammates and unorthodox head coach Grant Rosenfalis, Caleb must defy all odds and logic if he ever hopes to achieve the intramural football glory he once had."
The film, from Orion Pictures, hits theaters on June 19. You can check out an exclusive clip above and the film's full official trailer below.
