Baltimore Orioles Gold Glove-winning centerfielder Adam Jones is so smooth that he can blow bubbles while running an all-out sprint toward a slicing fly ball.

At least that's what he did—or attempted to do—in the top of the fifth inning during Baltimore's game against the Boston Red Sox on Wednesday night.

Red Sox centerfielder Mookie Betts chopped at a 2–2 pitch from Orioles pitcher Wei-Yin Chen and sent it slicing into right-center field away from a sprinting Jones.

Jones never took his eye off the ball, and never took his tongue off the puckering of his chewing gum. It looks like there might have been a small bubble blown, then popped, in there.

Hey, any play that gets Gary Thorne yelling that loudly is already a strong one in our book. The gum exploits just put it over the top.

Adam Jones has an awesome response to heckling Boston Red Sox fans
