Dexter Fowler's infant daughter was thrilled her dad hit a grand slam
Chicago Cubs outfielder Dexter Fowler hit a grand slam in Sunday's game against the Minnesota Twins. His daughter's reaction was adorable.
With the Cubs in Minnesota for a series against the Twins, Chicago centerfielder Dexter Fowler can't spend Father's Day with his daughter. But he's going to be a pretty proud dad when he checks Twitter after the game.
In the top of the eighth inning with the bases loaded and the Cubs up 4–0, Fowler blasted an inside fastball to deep rightfield for his first grand slam since 2012.
Back at home, Fowler's wife Aliya and daughter Naya were watching, and Naya was delighted to see her dad put the game out of reach.
"What a great piece of hitting to turn on that low and inside pitch," she said.
